Major: Fish and Wildlife Conservation Ecology
Dream Job: Working in habitat and wildlife management, specifically with large mammals in the government maybe through the Bureau of Land Management or the Game and Fish Department. Fire ecology is something I am also interested in pursuing.
Favorite NMSU Experience/what advice do you have for other students?
My favorite NMSU experience was starting in person classes with no masks and being able to form better connections with people. Advice I would give to other students is to take advantage of activities offered on campus to network and gain more experience in your career field
Who is your biggest role model?
My mom, she is the kindest person I know, she always is willing to lend a helping hand, and she is a very hard worker. I have many people I aspire to be like as well through the actions they do for other people and the compassion they show for others like one of my mentors Travis Brown along with his wife Suzy Brown.
